Back to this topic again, after we solemnized our marriage back in December 2008. Now everybody is asking me "When are you going to hold your banquet?".


A few months ago, there was this period of time when I totally forgot about having to hold a banquet. It was the very last thing on my mind, cause there were so many other issues to deal with. So now, my mother-in-law is getting a little anxious about our banquet too. I can't possibly address my parents-in-law as "Uncle" and "Auntie" for too long, it's weird. I have to go through the Chinese customary!


Maybe I'm already feeling too married, that's why I'm getting lazy. I used to dream of grand wedding banquets, big hotel ballrooms, huge sparkling chandeliers and all. But now I'm actually desiring more for a cosy lovely small banquet, with just the people who really matters in our lives. (That's not a very small number actually.)


No matter what, the banquet most probably won't be held this year. I want to concentrate on getting a house and a car. I was hoping so badly to get the Dawson HDB. And thanks to people who apply just for fun, people like us who really wants the flat sadly fails to get it. Urgh.
